Perched above a forested valley, the Vista Haven Retreat is designed to frame and celebrate its dramatic natural surroundings. Every room is oriented to capture long views, and the interior material palette — natural stone, dark timber, and soft wool — creates a warm cocoon against the mountain climate.

Great Room & Fireplace

The centrepiece of the home is a double-height great room anchored by a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. Exposed timber trusses, deep leather seating, and layered textile throws create a lodge-like atmosphere that invites gathering, conversation, and quiet contemplation in equal measure.

Spa & Wellness Suite

A private spa suite includes a cedar-lined sauna, a cold plunge pool, a steam shower, and a relaxation lounge with panoramic valley views. Natural ventilation and sustainably sourced materials ensure the wellness experience is as environmentally responsible as it is restorative.

Outdoor Living Terraces

Wraparound terraces on both levels provide sheltered outdoor living spaces for every season. A covered dining terrace, a fire pit seating area, and a sunrise viewing deck extend the usable living area and maximise the connection to the landscape.

Local stone, hand-forged ironwork, and regionally sourced timber honour the building traditions of the area. Collaborations with local artisans — a ceramicist for custom tile work, a blacksmith for bespoke hardware — give the retreat an authenticity and sense of place that cannot be replicated.
